Best Fights - Vs Metas

Best Fights - Vs Metas

What are Batman's best fights vs metas/super powered opponents? These are my favorite battles that I picked as Batman's best fights against meta humans or super powered opponents in no ranking order.

Defeats Nobody (Morgan Duncard the son/protégé of the legendary manhunter Henri Duncard who happens to be one of Bruce's best teachers) in one of his most brutal and bloody melee battles which Bruce ends by dunking and holding down Nobody in a vat of acid (just long enough to burn off Nobody's power armor). We also learn Bruce has made hearing modifications to his cowl to block Nobody's ultrasound attack having been beaten by the powerful ultrasound weapon in their previous battle (Batman and Robin v2 #7)

Defeats a Venom enhanced Bane in a brutal prolonged melee battle (Forever Evil Aftermath: Batman vs Bane)

Vs KGBeast

A cybernetically enhanced KGB trained russian super soldier and assassin.

- In their last clash during the Ten Nights of the Beast arc, KGBeast is using an artificial hand armed with a gun, a bayonet, and a gas thrower yet the Dark Knight still manages to neutralize his weapons and get the better of him. Finally, Bruce chases him down to a room with no exit and decides to trap him inside seemingly leaving him for dead (Batman #420)

- Seeking to get revenge for his adopted son Dick Grayson/Nightwing who was almost killed, he hunts down KGBeast with the two engaging in a brutal and bloody fight which shows KGBeast actually getting the upper hand and seemingly is about to finish Batman off until he uses his grapnel gun at point blank range to break KGBeast's neck. Then, just like before in their last great battle Batman just decides to leave KGBeast helpless and for dead avenging his son (Batman v3 #57)

Vs Deathstroke aka Slade Wilson

Battles a physically much younger Deathstroke (who claims to be a little weaker although no physical weakness has been shown since he's been turned into a younger version of himself) in a brutal melee battle that goes back and forth with Slade ultimately getting the upper hand due to Batman not going for the kill when he had the chance too according to Slade. In addition, Batman is still seen fighting back before their battle is interrupted and ended by Harley Quinn who sets off numerous bombs burying them both under a huge pile of debris from the building they were inside of (Deathstroke v3 #5)

Batman Endgame Conclusion

Batman v2 #40:

Vs The Joker - The Joker is enhanced with Dionesium in this entire story arc which is a formula similar to what Talon's use that makes them super human in addition to providing a rapid healing factor.

Is ambushed by the Joker and engages in their most brutal battle yet having withstood multiple stab wounds to the back, lethal razor sharp cards thrown into his eye and arms, acid to the mouth, and a long fall down a cliff while wrestling with the Joker. In the end although very badly injured Bruce is able to maneuver the Joker into a position to be taken down by a falling cave stalactite in the back then prevents the Joker from reaching the pit of Dionesium as they both lay there bloody and beaten

Cleverly defeats a highly skilled immortal alien warrior named Feast by attaching his utility belt (that has plenty of explosives, chemicals, and other high tech equipment) to Feast's waist before he even notices then blows him up overloading his healing factor (which we see working both times when Batman uses his explosives against him). Afterwards, Batman is seen torturing him with a mere pen getting the information he needed out of him (JLA: Welcome to the Working Week)

Fights Eddie Hurst who's been driven insane due to a magical stone (the Randori Stone) granting him super strength, speed, and invulnerability. While Bruce proves unable to stop or hurt him physically, he does impressively manage to hold his own against him the entire time with skill and weaponry without being beaten while withstanding a ton of punishment and finally is able to put Eddie down once his power begins to fade away (Detective Comics #788)

Easily countering Wonder Woman's every move while trying to reason with her even cleverly escaping her magical lasso with Diana finally resorting to using her super powers (rock thrown at super speed followed by a super strong punches) to overpower Batman (JLA: League of One)

Fights a jokerized Superman inside his Justice Buster mech suit and is able to dominate the fight due to have counters and protocols for dealing with most of Superman's offensive powers. However, Superman still proves to be a little more clever and stronger then expected who is able to turn the tide of the battle in his favor and even rip apart the Justice Buster mech suit leaving Batman no choice but to use his last hidden ace which turns out to be kryptonite gum spat in Superman's face which is successful in finally bringing the Man of Steel down (Batman v2 #35-36)

Inside his Hellbat suit, he fights Darkseid and manages to not only hold his own quite well in melee combat against the evil new god but also take him down long enough to get away with a massive chest blast at full power (Batman and Robin v2 #37)
