Vs Monsters and Demons
Batman and the Monster Men
- This is the damage caused by one of these Monster Men to eleven Maroni's gangsters (of the missing 2, one got handled by Strange's henchman, another one had an arm broken to begin with) (Batman & The Monster Men #2-3)
- A rookie Batman, while already bloodied and affected by a poisoned dart that hit him in the previous issue, is trapped in a cell with all 3 of them, and has to battle them. But, despite sustaining serious injuries, he is able to fight them off (taking down one of them for more than half the fight & stabbing the eye of another one with a batarang in the process), escape, and indirectly take them out, all to Strange's amazement (Batman & The Monster Men #4)
- Defeats two of Hugo's monster men by attaching them to each other via steel bola cable lines which in turn forces the two monsters to beat each other to death as they attempt to break free (Batman & The Monster Men #6)
- Faces off against Hugo Strange's 4th and most formidable monster man who was created with Batman's own DNA yet he still defeats it using a combo of weaponry (powerful tranq dart & acid tipped batarangs), skill, and tactics (Batman & the Monster Men #6)
Able to fight against Yeti monsters (that are powerful enough to give even Frankenstein trouble) and actually hurt them using just his skill plus batarangs (Batman and Frankenstein #31)
Taking down the Trench (Aquaman level threat) alongside his Justice League teammates (Justice League v2 #17)
Taking out multiple Parademons and Justifiers from Glorious Godfrey's Apokolips army while fighting alongside the League of Assassins and Frankenstein (Robin Rises Omega One Shot)
Is swallowed whole by a giant Apokolips Demon Hound and still manages to take it down from the inside surprising the guards that he somehow took it down plus came out alive just fine (Superman Batman #11-12)
Defeats a giant alien creature by electrocuting it (Superman Batman #29)
Subdues a giant telepathic Cyclops monster with instant hardening foam plus a bat-bola (Batman Odyssey v2 #6)
Dominates a very strong demon monster in melee combat then with a little help manages to kill it (Batman & Superman vs Vampires & Werewolves #2)
Battles a demon and beats him with a phosphorus flare and a fork (Shadow of the Bat #64)
Destroys magically reanimated horsemen with explosive charges (Shadow of the Bat #70)
Maintains the upperhand on mystical werebeasts known as Howlers despite being ambushed, being physically inferior, plus outnumbered he still KOes one of them with an elbow just as Superman comes to help out (Trinity #9)
Vs Vampires
A rookie Batman who was captured and drained of a lot of his blood beforehand is still able to fight a powerful vampire roughly to a stalemate and then kill the vampire with assistance from Alfred (Legends of the Dark Knight #41)
Quickly handles two vampires by staking/killing one of them while easily overpowering the other (JLA #96)
Quickly takes down a vampire (Batman & Superman vs Vampires & Werewolves #2)
Dominating a small group of vampires using just skill just as Green Arrow and Jason Blood come to his aid (Batman & Superman vs Vampires & Werewolves #3)
Seen fighting off a large number of vampires using just skill alongside Andrew Bennett and his crew (I, Vampire #6)
Saves Superman from a very powerful vampire by staking it through the heart from behind killing it off (Action Comics Annual #1)
Vs Dragons
Knocks a dragon monster out the air with two phosphorus flares temporarily bringing it down (Shadow of the Bat Annual #1)
With no memory of who he truly is using just his natural ability/skill he takes out a sea dragon (that turns out to be Darkseid's Hyper Adaptor sent through time after him) with just a sword and a torch (The Return of Bruce Wayne #2)
Vs Man-Bat(s)
- Quickly KOes a league of assassin trained ninja Man-Bat despite the attempted sneak attack also showcasing his reflex speed here (Batman #658)
- Is ambushed by Zsasz who's been transformed into a super strong Man-Bat yet he's able to defeat him by restraining his body with his grapnel gun then tackles him out a high story window sending him crashing down hard on the top of a car KOing him (Detective Comics v2 #19)
Vs Kirk Langstrom (the original Man-Bat)
Man-Bat (2021) #4-5:
- Affected by Scarecrow's sonic subliminal cannon, Batman's worse impulses are brought to the surface of his character making him more aggressive and brutal then usual as we easily see him take down Man-Bat (Kirk Langstrom) with a kick
- Realizing he's no match for Batman especially in the hyper aggressive mental state he's in, Kirk takes a play out of Bane's playbook by injecting himself with Venom boosting his already inhuman physical abilities to much higher levels in his last ditch attempt to defeat Batman
- Despite of the massive physical advantage Man-Bat's just given himself over Batman it's still not enough to defeat the Dark Knight who has Man-Bat bested in combat who uses a combo of skill and weaponry to beat Langstrom
- Now realizing he can't win on the ground, Kirk cleverly uses the actual best advantage he has over Batman which is flight to get Batman out of his natural element then tosses him far away while they're high up in the sky. This forces Batman to use his Batwing to rescue himself and allows Man-Bat time to escape so he can go and stop Scarecrow
Vs Killer Croc
- Soundly defeats Killer Croc (despite being sneak attacked) who's been enhanced by the Hush virus increasing his already formidable super strength, speed, and durability well beyond their normal levels but at the cost of mutating even further something Batman deduces who notes that he's acting more like a furious animal then ever before. Afterwards, Batman pulls Croc up above ground with chains (a feat of strength as Croc weighs 686Ibs due to the virus) (Batman #608)
- While investigating in the sewer system leads relative to a villains-killing vigilante, Batman and Robin are confronted by Killer Croc. Batman notes that Croc is faster and tougher than he remembered (he hadn't fought him in a while at the time), and the 2 heroes are in Croc's environment or home turf (the sewers). Despite this, first the Dark Knight gets the better of him just hand to hand, then quickly takes him out by cleverly using a flare to blind him then attaches a powerful short range explosive device to his body which KOes him (Detective Comics #819)
- Defeats Killer Croc who's high and pumped up on street grade Venom (which still greatly enhanced his already super human strength & speed as Batman somewhat points out who's surprised by him) with a clever tactic using the environment around him (Batman The Dark Knight v1 #1)
Legends of The Dark Knight #83-84:
Early in his career he battles a super human almost zombie like soldier infected by a virus who proves himself to be resistant even to nerve agent (although it badly hurt him), electricity, and who can fire bone bullets
Round 1 - Is able to fight off the monsterous super soldier using nerve agent which badly burns/hurts him forcing the monster soldier to retreat
Round 2 - Monster soldier gets the upper hand over Batman this time after shooting him with his bone bullets before their battle is interrupted
Round 3 - Defeats the monster super soldier using a gun, a high voltage taser, and skill to finally put him down. Later on, after finding the monster man's dead remains he leaves the monster man's head on the desk of the madman who was behind creating the monster super soldier in the first place as a warning
Vs Andrew Bennett - A powerful 600 year old vampire
- Briefly battles the powerful elder vampire and holds his own well although the fight is inconclusive (I, Vampire #5)
- Able to take Andrew Bennett out of flight and briefly stun him using a batarang (I, Vampire #6)
Vs Ferak (Inhumanly powerful plant creature)
- Just to give you an idea of how powerful this creature is: Ferak is shown sending both Superboy and Impulse flying away with a single punch (Young Justice: No Man's Land Special)
- Batman uses a combo of skill, stealth, and weaponry to subdue Ferak as gently as possible (Detective Comics #752)
Defeats the super strong monster man known as Frankenstein (who's powerful enough to fight against top tiers like OMAC) in combat via the Castle's electricity cleverly taking advantage of the environment around him (Batman & Robin v2 #19)
Vs Mahakala
Detective Comics #602-603
- Battles the giant demon and does well against it but makes the mistake of letting his guard down when he turns his back on it
- KOes Mahakala temporarily using a wrecking ball while fighting him at a construction site but it isn't enough to completely stop him as Etrigan ultimately has to step in to make the save
Vs Etrigan The Demon - A very powerful rhyming demon who's easily on par with top tiers like Superman & Wonder Woman in strength and power
- Fights Etrigan in defense of the lives of two criminals even although he has no shot of winning yet he still manages to break free of Etrigan's grip, toss him through cement bricks, and guard against being hit by his super speed attack (although Etrigan does catch him by the cape). Ultimately, Etrigan lets Batman live because he's so impressed and even amused that Batman would refuse to surrender despite facing certain death (Detective Comics #603)
- Displaying impressive stamina, he courageously takes on Etrigan although he's brutally beat down yet he refuses to quit until he's finally able to successfully take down and stun Etrigan long enough (using a contruction truck) for a spell to transform him back into Jason Blood (Blood of the Demon #3)
- Is ambushed by Etrigan (who's less powerful due to having lost his rhyme which Batman deduces) yet still manages to fight him off with his weaponry (gas & grapnel gun) despite being forced into a freefall battle (The Dark Knight v1 #5)
Facing Eclipso's monster manifestation unwittingly created by Commissioner Gordon, Bats loses immediately the solar trap given him by Bruce Gordon (solar scientist, former main host of Eclipso and sworn enemy of the God of Vengeance), but manages to win despite that by intelligently using the environment, thanks to luck being on his side (the toy company they are in has solar-powered stuff), and an assist from Commissioner Gordon (Detective Comics Annual #5)
Vs Plague
52 Aftermath: The Four Horsemen #4-5
Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman have to face the 4 Horsemen, monstrous demi-gods that originally came from Apokolips and were even powerful enough to give Black Adam and Isis a tough fight and since then have supposedly gotten more powerful/formidable as proven in some of images below where we see them giving Superman a hard time.
- Batman has Snapper Carr teleport Plague on the Moon in order to have the monster come to him, thus leaving Superman with just Famine to face. We then see Batman able to burn/hurt Plague with what appears to be tear gas although its not enough to stop Plague
- Coming up with a plan on the spot, we learn Batman angered Plague in order to make it personal so Plague wouldn't call in the help of its undead followers. Finally, he cleverly uses what he found in the surroundings to take Plague out which turns out to be morphine
